Artist will obtain, carry, and keep in full force and effect a general liability insurance policy with the following limits: $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and $2,000,000.00 aggregate.  At least one week before the Festival, the Artist will provide SHLLC with a certificate of insurance evidencing its insurance.  All policies of insurance will:

  1. provide for cancellation with not less than 30 days prior written notice to SHLLC;

  2. be issued by reputable insurance carriers acceptable to SHLLC;

  3. have a minimum AM Best rating of A VII or better; and

  4. be primary and non-contributory with respect to any other insurance or self-insurance program of SHLLC.

Insurance required to be maintained by the Artist under this document will name the following and their respective agents, officers, members, directors, employees, successors and assigns as additionally insured.

If Artist does not provide proof of the required insurance on or before the deadline, SHLLC may purchase a one-time policy from Ascend Insurance Brokerage on the Artist’s behalf and will deduct the premium for such insurance from the payments made to the Artist.

***Proof of insurance must be submitted by Friday, October 20, 2017.***
