What does a Car Pass get me?
If you purchased a Car Pass, things will be very similar to what you’ve experienced in the past. If you would like to camp with your #HulaCrew, we strongly suggest that you plan in advance to arrive to Suwannee Hulaween together. We cannot allow any sites to be held unfortunately. Our campground staff are reasonable people and will work with you to try to get your crew together, however no promises can be made. There will be multiple lanes to head in from the front staffed with these people who are familiar with the site that can help direct you to where you want to camp or are meeting people.
For those of you who have been to the park and know where you’re going there will be an express lane to zip past the questions and directions lanes. Reviewing the map and communicating with your friends who are already inside should help you come prepared to know if you need directions or already know where to go upon arrival.
How do I get my things into the campgrounds if I chose to park in the outer lots instead of buying a camping pass or taking a shuttle?
If you do not wish to purchase a Car Pass, you may park your car in the outer lots and ride the Park's shuttle into the campgrounds with your belongings. Please note that additional parking fees will apply, which can be paid upon arrival to the park.
Can we still camp in the woods?
We have cleared acres of underbrush to significantly increase the amount of usable shaded tree camping while creating new & improved camping options. So all of your favorite traditional spots remain, and the woods will be open for camping.
